Failed Rescue 1: Lucifer's Child, trying to escape Hell. Note the tattoo on his back, which is present in Failed Rescue 2. Here, an Angel is waiting for the kid to get further away from Hell, but as we see, a hand is about to grab the child.

I used Painter mostly. How long? I don't remember...that was one of my first attempt at Painter, so there probably was a lot of hits and misses. I'd say between 3 and 7 days, thereabouts. I depends on so many factors (life interference, for instance, heh).

I just recieved my copy of D'Artiste from Ballistic Publishing a few days ago, and remember seeng and drooling over this in Rob Chang's visiting artists pages. It's a wonderfully done painting, and I am totally enthralled at your skills, Cyril.

Welcome to DA... its good to have quality like yours here :)

Like the concept and the work, religious stuff can be fun sometimes...especially if you can use it to piss people off(if i offended someone with that comment...)
:icontegehel:
thanks Jomina, I appreciate. I remember d'Artiste, I was enthralled as well to be in. I think that was the first time a piece of mine was being published worldwide, very exciting :) Thank you for your warm welcome.

flyinghamsterofdoom: heh, nice name. I don't mean to offend anyone with this piece (other pieces, well, that's something else), but nah, it's more part of a long-term project of some pseudo-religious story involving some battle between Heaven and Hell, and Lucifer's Child wanting to escape Hell (though for what reason, we don't know quite yet.) The rest of the story will develop in time ;)
